Drama, Drama, Drama.

Those images are just so good, they could use them for vogue, agreed? The brows, the granny hair, the wall, the expressions and: Coco, Karolina, Sasha, Karlie and Constance, they look so so pretty it almost hurts.

Back in Time: 2006

Okay, my eyebrows where still "work in progress" but my hair was at least already kind of short. I really liked that haircut btw and I am thinking of letting them grow a bit again. But I guess I love my hairdresser too much to do that. Anyway, even after 5 years I still like wearing this outfit. Pants: April77 - Sweater: Vintage (love it.) - Scarf: H&M.

have a nice, hopefully sunny day!
(I'll answer to all your comments very soon, haven't forgotten you!)

Featherlight.

After all those neon colours, my eyes are in need of something as light as a feather for the rest of the spring.

Cold Sunny Day.

Parfait!
I really would like to wear this outfit again...I originally wore it at the Shooting for Spur magazine back last year and I really loved it. A mix between summer and winter. Perfect!
I'm wearing a Isabel Marant Jacket, Tophsop Skirt, Vintage Scarf, Zara Wedges, Fendi Bag and Corpus Christi Jewellery. Picture by Thomas Humery for Spur Magazine.

Michael Pitt for Blast Magazine

I love the softness of this photoshoot.  And Michael Pitt of course. I really loved him in "The Dreamers" and "Funny Games U.S."

Easy Game.

Okay, this is really really good, amazing to be honest. Fred actually managed to do what nobody did so far ...putting everything I like about my face in ONE picture. (and my kooples addiction does not count here, even if my blazer is close to my face!)
  1. my hair, but only because of my amazing holy supertalented hairdresser Vito. No haircut without Vito, never ever.
  2. my eyebrows, thanks to the many many prada shows I watched and where I admired the eyebrows of the girls. And thanks to my lazyness of course. This time, not Vito.
  3. the beautymark everyone in my family has - somewhere around the mouth. I hated it when I was younger, but I guess I got used to it.
           Easy, right?
And now off to Disneyland!! ;)

Bone Structure.

The basics for my sportswear/casual collection. In my head I thought about taking these objects in combination already 1000 times, but I finally managed to do it. I love the idea of working with bone structures and nuns. Maybe this is going to be quite good...we'll see.
1) Inspiration basics + vintage coat collage (the model "wearing" it is actually from a christopher kane show / I got the coat from a vintage shop, but it looks nice here right?)
2) some collages - so much fun to do (if you are actually inspired, if not it's like mathematics: the worst thing on earth.)

See you soon!

So it's been a while since I last posted something about an inspiring person. (talking about inspiration: I'm going to do a second post about wonderful Emila very soon, hope you remember her!) Thinking about my next "subject" I chose Joëlle, her very special attitude and approach is anchored in my head since I first saw her work at high school. I hope you will like her work as much as I do, I can't wait to post more drawings!
Portrait by Maria, drawing (of course) by Joëlle.

At montmartre, animals seem to be everywhere. And little cute houses. And perfect weather. I guess I could say: this was a perfect day! I'm wearing vintage cardigans, top and skirt by american apparel and shoes by melissa. Oh, and thanks to Ting Wang, who always takes wonderful pictures.

Behind Tommy's Photos.

So, I'll make it clear: During Fashion Week, there are tons of photographers. (You will probably think: "tell me something I didn't know"). Well, there are those who seem to take a picture of everyone and everything that moves and then there are those where you have that connection, even if,  most of the time, you don't even know them in person. Among all those I particularly like there is also Tommy Ton, with his very personal approach while taking pictures. In fact, you know, at fashion week everyone is always in a hurry, nobody waits for anything, but Tommy waits in his own strange way. And that's what I love! (and I should mention that he actually takes amazing pictures, but you already know that.) He always just seems to appear out of nowhere, without a noise, when you expect him the least. (To reassure myself I keep telling myself that surely swiped Harry Potter's invisibility cloak, yes.) He is at the right place before or after everyone else. The first picture is from the Hermès show, I came out of the metro station and waited for the green light - and on the other side of the street, I already saw Tommy and Nam doing weird signs ( They wanted to see my bag and my rings, it was quite a riddle to find it out:) So since it's fashion week and during that short time a year you have the right to feel like a topmodel paid 1000 just for breathing, you make your private show while crossing rue de sèvres, the boss takes a quick look at the photo - in this case it wasn't good enough, so what are you doing?Of course you go back to cross the street again, without feeling stupid, how cool. (I don't even wanna know what the drivers where thinking!!) The second picture was taken on my way to the metro after Sonia Rykiel, oh did I mention that it was just too cold? I have to mention that once per post. Now you know it, it was cold outside. So you're walking fast, you know why, and then you realize that somebody tries to tell you not to run too fast - Oh! Tommy appeared again, this time with Phil. I love moments like that, they make me smile and the results are always the best ones. And it's just nice - the new thing is to take pictures of people without telling them or saying thank you, not even a smile - not cool. So, now you know how Tommy shot the great picture from style.com I posted earlier, and of course how to make a private show while crossing the street without feeling stupid as hell - always a pleasure.

Viktor & Rolf Fall 2011 Beauty

Strangely enough there is something I like about that make-up.
BTW: Poor Lindsey Wixson, she had an allergic reaction to the make-up and had to leave PFW earlier and cancel all other shows. According to style.com, 5 different theatrical-make-up removers were needed to take it off.

It's all about colours and pleats this season, but...what's going on with my feet on that picture?!

Fashion Week Day 4

Thanks to Nam (streetfsn.blogspot.com) for the great pictures. Today I wore: a coat that Christine made for me, H&M tights and Proenza Schouler PS1 bag.I thought it would be nice to post the second picture aswell. That was just before going home after Rick Owens, I was freezing but happy as you can see!
