When it comes to new trends, sneakers definitely win...well, let's say they share the pole position with Phoebe Philo's slides. The comfy trainers are everywhere, from blogger collaborations (Superga with Chiara Ferragni and Leandra Medine) to Haute Couture runways. Every brand seems to have their own perspective on the trainer ,but as you might know I've never had much love for that kind of footwear, even when King Karl discovered them for himself a few seasons ago at Chanel. That was until uber-talented sneakers expert (hint to his adidas collections) Raf Simons decided to bring them to the Dior Haute Couture runway and all the rest is history. It was love at first sight. I don't think i have to mention how heartbroken I was to walk away from the color I wanted at the store instead of buying them, the sizes are all sold far too quickly that it's near impossible to find yours... I guess it was not meant to be. That doesn't change my love for these little pieces of art, just look at the making of video above: they are almost too precious to wear. In the meantime I'm going to look forward to the Fall/Winter 2014/2015 heels that include the same sporty touch as these Fusion sneakers.
